In line with the network’s commitment to provide Latvian residents with high-quality everyday food and non-food products at competitive prices close to their homes, the local retail chain top! today, November 6, opened a new mini top! store in Bukulti, Ropaži Municipality. The project involved an investment of half a million euros, and with the opening of the store, five new jobs have been created for local residents.

mini top! Bukulti is already the 11th new store opened this year, and on the festive day, the first visitors were greeted with balloons, gifts, and branded top! shopping bags!

The mini top! Bukulti store offers a carefully selected range of the most frequently purchased food and non-food products. The assortment was developed by analyzing customer habits in other mini top! stores located in areas with similar demographic profiles, ensuring an appropriate offer, with a special focus on local brand products, fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products.

“The concept of mini top! stores was created to provide an accessible, compact shopping format outside major city centers, naturally integrated into the neighborhood and aligned with residents’ lifestyles. Bukulti is a rapidly growing area chosen by families with children and people who value peace and nature but also want to stay close to the city. In such an environment, a convenient everyday shopping spot without queues and crowds, with a well-thought-out, optimal, and high-quality assortment, is essential. We are opening the mini top! Bukulti store so that locals can buy everything they need for weekday dinners or leisurely weekend breakfasts, including premium Latvian-made products,” explains Ilze Priedīte, Board Member and Marketing Director of the top! retail chain.

The project developer and top! network partner, SIA “Firma Madara 89,” purchased the building at Ādažu Street 26A earlier this year. By investing half a million euros, the company completely rebuilt it, adapting the building to the top! store concept and modern shopping standards — the facade and roof were renovated, new lighting installed, and the surrounding area landscaped. A 140 m² sales area was created, featuring a counter for weighed products and one standard checkout. The store design includes modern equipment and energy-efficient lighting, comfortable staff facilities, and a well-planned storage area.

The mini top! Bukulti store is located in a strategically convenient spot — right next to a public transport stop, private houses, and close to a lake, making it easily accessible and convenient for both locals and visitors by car or bicycle, as the store offers bike racks and car parking. To provide a full range of services, the store features a reverse vending machine and parcel lockers from Latvijas Pasts and DPD, allowing customers to easily send and receive parcels.
