As part of the development of local entrepreneurship, a new local store top! Teika opened its doors on Friday, 5 July, at 9 Ropažu Street in Riga. The new store with a retail area of 221 sq m will cater to the residents of Teika by offering a carefully curated selection. Additionally, it will create job opportunities for at least 6 people. Investments in the project amount to more than EUR 200,000.
«July began with the launch of another new store. The goal of this cosy store top! Teika is to give the local community easy access to a carefully curated selection of high-quality essentials at great prices. We will provide customers with products from local Latvian producers, as well as ready-to-eat meals and pastries prepared in the local top!. In addition, hot drinks to go and the finest coffee roasted in Latvia will be available. When establishing the store, sustainable solutions were considered in the design of the space and the selection of technical equipment, and LED lighting was installed to save energy. We have also installed a self-service checkout for our customers’ convenience. In the near future, we will start building a pedestrian crossing across Ropažu Street so that customers can get to the store safely from the other side of the road,” shares Ilze Priedīte, Member of the Management Board of the store chain top!.
The new top! Teika has become the fourth store to open this year. At the beginning of the year, three newly built top! stores opened their doors to customers in Jaunpiebalga, Grundzāle and Aknīste, and in the second half of July we are planning to open another new top! store in Āgenskalns. The existing stores are undergoing reconstruction to enhance and upgrade the shopping experience for customers.
