On 15 December in Grobiņi, South Kurzeme Municipality, at 74 Lielāa Street, in the spirit of Christmas, a newly built top! store was opened. The total area of the building is 990 m2, and the store sales area is 580 m2. The new store will offer a wide range of products, which we have complemented with fresh fish and meat, as well as pastries and locally produced confectionery. The total investment in the project is about 1.8 million EUR.

“We started construction of the facility in June this year. The building is designed to be comfortable for visitors and to be in harmony with the environment. Light-transmitting material was used in the wall panels of the building, which visually makes it light and bright. The adjacent territory has been landscaped, parking for 46 cars has been installed. Taking care of the environment and sustainable development, we have equipped the store with energy-efficient retail equipment and lighting, and for the convenience of customers, we have installed a total of five checkouts, three of which are selfservice. The new store will provide modern and convenient conditions for customers, as well as a favourable working environment for employees,” Elīna Ļaudama, Chairman of the Board of AS LPB says.

“Shortly before the beginning of the year, we are pleased to welcome another new top! store of local entrepreneurs, which opened its doors today in Grobiņi, where there were already top! and mini top!. The previously existing top! store closes, but today we offer a new, beautiful store with an expanded assortment and a series of promotions and great deals. I would especially like to note the wide range of fresh products, such as fresh fish and meat, as well as local cuisine, fresh pastries and hot drinks to take away. We have taken care of vegans and adherents of a healthy diet by expanding the already familiar assortment, and we will also offer already loved products from local producers. For the convenience of customers, in the store building there is also a Mēness aptieka drugstore, a flower shop, and a point where you can return empty deposit containers,” the Member of the Board of the store chain top! Ilze Priedīte told.

This is the fifth new top! store this year, and we have also refurbished and modernised 17 existing stores. The chain store partner AS LPB has renovated several stores this year, including the completion of major renovation and expansion works in Pavilosta and Riga, on Ilukstes Street.
