Deviled egg chicks

Ingredients

12 eggs

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon mustard
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 carrot
  • 24 black peppercorns

Boil the eggs in a pot for 10-12 minutes, then cool them in cold water. Peel the eggs and cut off about one-third of the narrower end. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and salt to the yolks, and mash with a fork until creamy. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and cut off the tip. Carefully pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites and place the cut-off tops on each egg.

Cut small chick beaks from the carrot in a triangular form. Decorate the egg chicks with the carrot beaks and black peppercorn eyes.
