Shortcrust cookies with glaze
Ingredients
- Shortcrust dough
- White chocolate
- Green food coloring
- Dark chocolate
- Sugar decorations
- Colored sugar icings for decorating
Preparation video
Roll out the shortcrust dough to about 3 mm thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out various Christmas shapes—such as trees, snowmen, stars, and gingerbread men. Bake the cookies in the oven at 180 C for about 15 minutes. While the cookies are baking, melt both the white and dark chocolate. Mix the white chocolate with the green food coloring. When the cookies are baked, let them cool. Pour the green-colored chocolate over the Christmas tree cookies, dark chocolate over the gingerbread men, and white chocolate over the snowmen. Place the cookies in the refrigerator for an hour to let the glaze set. Then decorate with sugar decorations and draw on details with the colored sugar icings.
