Cheesy Christmas tree
Ingredients
- 500g yeast dough
- 150g mozzarella, firm, diced
- 100g melted butter
- 50g Parmesan, grated finely
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- Pinch of salt
Preparation video
Preheat the oven to 200 C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll the dough into a ball, separate into eight parts. Roll each one slightly and separate into four. Press a mozzarella piece into each and roll up into a tight ball.
Arrange on a greased baking tray, building a tree. Cover with greased cling film and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Mix butter, garlic, rosemary, parsley, and salt. Brush the tree with ⅔ of the mix. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with the rest of the butter, top with Parmesan, and bake for a few more minutes.
