Chicken filet with cheese and fresh tomatoes

Ingredients

For 2 servings

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 6 g chicken seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • A bit of lemon juice
  • Semi-hard cheese
  • Small red tomatoes
  • Yellow and red tomatoes
  • Rosemary sprig
  • Red basil for decor
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation video

In a bowl, mix lemon juice, salt, pepper, chicken seasoning, and grated garlic cloves. Place the chicken fillets in a baking dish and make four fairly deep diagonal cuts in each. Rub them with the prepared mixture. Then generously sprinkle the chicken with grated cheese, making sure to fill the cuts as well. Place halved cherry tomatoes into the cuts. Fill the rest of the baking dish with chopped yellow and red tomatoes. Sprinkle a bit more cheese over everything, place a sprig of rosemary on top, and bake in the oven at 180°C for 35 minutes. Garnish with red basil.
