Grilled ribs in BBQ sauce
Ingredients
- 1kg pork ribs
Sauce
- 500g good ketchup
- 200g honey
- 100g brown sugar
- Tablespoon smoked paprika
- Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Teaspoon chili powder
- Tablespoon apple vinegar
- Pinch of salt
Preparation video
Make the sauce by mixing all ingredients in a small saucepan and simmering on low heat for around 1 hour until thick and fragrant.
Boil the ribs for 25-30 minutes on low heat with herbs by choice (onion, garlic, parsley, dill, carrot, peppercorns, bay leaves). The meat should be soft but not fall off the bone. This can be done on the previous day. Glaze the ribs with the sauce on both sides. Grill each side for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the heat level. Serve with the sauce.
