Tongue in jelly
Ingredients
- Pork tongue
- Small pickles
- Cranberries
- Thyme sprigs
- 500 g vegetable broth
- 12 g gelatin
Preparation video
Boil the pork tongue with spices for about two hours. Slice it and place the slices into small dishes. Add the pickles, cranberries, and thyme sprigs as desired. Soak the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes, then dissolve it in a hot water bath. Mix the dissolved gelatin into the broth. Once combined, pour the broth over the prepared dishes. Let cool and refrigerate for a few hours.
