Beef stew
Ingredients
- 500 g beef
- 2 onions
- 6 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Pepper
- 100 ml red wine
- 2 rutabagas turnips
- 6 small carrots
- Thyme leaves
- 500 ml vegetable broth
- Parsley for garnish
Preparation video
Sear the beef, cut into large pieces, in a pan together with the chopped onions and garlic cloves. Add salt, pepper, and red wine, and cook until the wine has reduced by half. Transfer everything to a baking dish, add the diced rutabagas, carrots, thyme leaves, and vegetable broth, and bake in the oven at 200 C for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley.
