Spaghetti with meatballs
Ingredients
- 300 g pork
- 1 egg
- 3 garlic cloves
- 20 g breadcrumbs
- 15 g grated hard cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 g Mediterranean seasoning
- A little grated nutmeg
- Olive oil for frying
- 1 onion
- 300 g canned tomatoes
- 1 glass of meat broth
- A pinch of sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Parsley and basil for garnish
Preparation video
Mix the minced meat with the egg, 2 minced garlic cloves, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, salt, pepper, Mediterranean seasoning, and nutmeg. Form small balls from the mixture and fry them in a pan until browned. Remove the meatballs from the pan, then lightly fry the finely chopped onion and the remaining finely chopped garlic clove in the same pan. Add the blended tomatoes, broth, salt, pepper, dried basil, and a pinch of sugar, and mix. When it begins to boil, add the meatballs and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with cooked spaghetti, grate hard cheese on top, and garnish with chopped parsley and basil leaves.
