Hot dog

Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • Hot dogs
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 egg
  • Flour
  • Puff pastry with yeast
  • Hard cheese
  • Sesame seeds
  • Basil for decor

Preparation video

Mix the tomato sauce with mustard in a bowl. Sprinkle flour on the table and roll out the dough a little thinner. Spread the tomato sauce and mustard mixture on top, and sprinkle with grated hard cheese. Then cut the dough into long strips, 3 cm wide. Boil the hot dogs. Carefully wrap the dough strips around the boiled and cooled hot dogs. Repeat with the remaining ones. When the hot dogs are wrapped, place them on a baking tray, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in the oven at 200 C for 15 minutes. Serve the hot dogs on a plate and garnish with basil leaves.
