Steak with vegetables
Ingredients
- 2 slices of steak meat
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3-4 branches of thyme
- ½ zucchini
- 4-5 boiled new potatoes
- 5 cherry tomatoes
- Paprika
Preparation video
Remove steak meat from the refrigerator and allow it to warm up to room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to the steak and rub on both sides.
Add olive oil to the pan and heat to a high temperature.
To get a bloody steak, pan fry for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Medium bloody for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Done for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Well done for 4-5 minutes on each side.
On the last minute of frying add butter, garlic cloves and thyme sprigs to the pan. Baste with melted butter. Rest steak for at least 3-4 minutes before serving. Prepare vegetables - add zucchini slices, halved tomatoes, halved boiled potatoes and pepper slices to a pan and fry until the vegetables are done.
Serve the steak with vegetables.
