Marinades for pork shashlik
Ingredients
Pork shashlik in tomato juice marinade:
- 1 kg pork shoulder
- 2 onions
- 1 garlic clove
- Thyme sprigs
- 8 g ground black pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 0.5 l tomato juice
Pork shashlik in kefir marinade:
- 1 kg pork shoulder
- 2 onions
- 25 g meat spice mix
- 0.5 l kefir
Pork shashlik in water marinade:
- 1 kg pork shoulder
- 2 onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 0.5 l mineral water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons ground black pepper

Pork shashlik in tomato juice marinade
Cut up the pork shoulder in chunks. In a bowl, combine the meat, sliced onions, minced garlic, thyme, ground black pepper, lemon juice, and tomato juice. Toss, using your hands, for 5 minutes. Leave for 4 hours to marinate.
Pork shashlik in kefir marinade
In a bowl, combine chunks of pork shoulder, sliced onions, meat spices, and kefir. Toss for 5 minutes, using your hands. Let stand for at least 4 hours.
