Homemade bread

Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 800 g whole grain rye flour
  • 1/2 l milk
  • 50 g yeast
  • 50 g butter
  • 10 g salt
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 100 g flaxseeds
  • 1 egg

Preparation video

In a large bowl, add 400 g of flour, the warm milk, yeast in sugar and mix well. Sprinkle a little flour, cover with a towel and leave to rise for 30 minutes. When the dough has risen, add the remaining flour, soft butter, salt and seeds. Knead the dough thoroughly until it stops sticking to your hands.

Butter and flour a cake tin, removing any excess flour. Place the dough in the dish, cover with a towel and leave to rise for an hour. After an hour, brush the bread dough with beaten egg and bake in the oven at 150 C for 1 hour, then at 200 C for 30 minutes
